Way to reset passwords via file

So I've somehow been unable to login to my admin account, and I have absolutely no way to get my account back as I don't have access to the email. I saw a post about this earlier saying theres a file called "n12_users" but I can't find it. Please help! Thanks in advance :)
This is not a file. And the table is in the database and you are unlikely to be able to change the password there, since it is encrypted there
But there you can change your email, maybe it will work
