Hopefully it's an HDD because it stores data "physically," as SDDs can be difficult to access because you can only access data-containing blocks.
You can install any recovery tool, but I would recommend BLR Tool - Download Free BLR Data Recovery Tool for Windows 243 (personal favorite).
Run a quick scan to easily navigate to the path where the folders/files that were previously deleted (in some cases, you may need a deep scan).
I believe I don't need to explain all the steps in a very detailed manner because the application is very intuitive and easy to use (otherwise, there are plenty of videos on YouTube).
