Fixed the issue, fyi, i had to change the email address from the database, THEN, send a forgot password link, after changing the password, IT WILL BE ENCRYPTED IN BCRYPT, but my account was on sha256 in the database, just replace sha256 with bcrypt and it should work fine.

I have disabled the authme integration via phpmyadmin and looks like it did in fact disabled the authme registration, but still, login doesnt work
