There is currently an issue if you have enabled "API verification" in the StaffCP -> Configuration API tab.
Could you please ensure this is disabled.
After doing so, could you please run the following MySQL command (this can be done using a tool like phpMyAdmin if you have it):
UPDATE nl2_users SET reset_code = NULL WHERE username = 'DenielGars';
