How to add a subpage

How to make a subpage in the web menu such as hovering the mouse over a category in the page navigation menu and opening a selection of other pages "subpages". For example, in the navigation menu there will be instructions and subpages will be how to do something, etc........ I am sorry for my bad English.
it's probably something completely basic, but I'm a newbie and I'm not sure how to do it.
I think it's not possible, you can move custom pages and some modules to a "More" dropdown though.
