If I understand you correctly, the installer is getting stuck on the database creation step?
If that is the case, can you check the tables in your database (using something like phpMyAdmin, which your web host should provide you with) and see if there are tables in there beginning with nl1_

Unfortunately it sounds like your web host is not compatible with Nameless.
Usually this happens if you are using a free web host, as they block some database functionality to get you to upgrade to their paid plans.

That's definitely unusual, however I can only recommend trying a different host to see if it works on there.
