More ways to edit staff application page

There should be more ways to edit and add to the staff applcation page.
This is what I would love to see:

This is what I would love to see:
- Add description below each field (in smaller letters), between the title of the field and the field
- Placeholders in fields
- The opportunity to use the right column on the page aswell, to write stuff etc.
- Edit the size of the text area fields
- Checkbox field

Thanks for the suggestions, I can add these with the new version 2 applications module.
