I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with Discord, but it's a voice/text software that is fairly new. My group has found it to be far superior to skype/ventrilo/teamspeak/anything else we've used over the years.

It would be cool if you guys could add module support for discord, so maybe above the server:

Discord has a built in widget that can be enabled and put somewhere on the sidebar (It looks like this by default but can be resized/changed to a light theme: http://i.imgur.com/k4KNUCq.png) and they also do have a json api so that you guys could make something that matches the style of your site and only shows neccessary info and whatnot. 

Sorry if this request is overly specific but since I stumbled upon this awesome forum software about a week ago I've been wanting to throw my input in. The software is great right now and I'm very excited for some of the updates planned (tickets yesss). Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the suggestion @cbackas, and thanks for the sample code @Schwertspize. I'll take a look, and hopefully it'll be in the next release.

I've added support for the basic widget provided by Discord themselves, in the future I'll add a more customised option using the code provided by @Schwertspize
